What we are searching for:
- Light Vehicle Mechanic Qualification.
- High level of personal commitment and focus.
- The ability to work well in a team environment and autonomously.
- Current and valid manual drivers' license is mandatory.
- Roadworthy licence will be highly regarded.
- Good eye for attention to detail.
- An ambition to succeed.
- A passion for the automotive industry.
Responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with daily workshop operational tasks.
- Performing minor repairs, servicing and maintenance work on vehicles.
- Performing major repairs on engines and transmissions as needed (depending on experience).
- Completing repair orders and vehicle services diligently.
- Assisting in the training of apprentices.
- Correctly completing warranty repair in adherence to the manufacturer workshop manuals.
- Thoroughly inspect all vehicles prior to customer collection.
