What we are searching for:

  • Light Vehicle Mechanic Qualification.
  • High level of personal commitment and focus.
  • The ability to work well in a team environment and autonomously.
  • Current and valid manual drivers' license is mandatory.
  • Roadworthy licence will be highly regarded.
  • Good eye for attention to detail.
  • An ambition to succeed.
  • A passion for the automotive industry.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with daily workshop operational tasks.
  • Performing minor repairs, servicing and maintenance work on vehicles.
  • Performing major repairs on engines and transmissions as needed (depending on experience).
  • Completing repair orders and vehicle services diligently.
  • Assisting in the training of apprentices.
  • Correctly completing warranty repair in adherence to the manufacturer workshop manuals.
  • Thoroughly inspect all vehicles prior to customer collection.
